Mission Statement: Our Mission is to provide a safe haven to implement a network of programs to enhance the quality of life for today's youth. We aim to empower the youth through mentoring life skills, tutoring academics, curriculums and programs that build self esteem.
Who We Are We are a community service organization which promotes positive values through programs that support and encourage young people to experience life through art, poetry, and music to name a few. We feel that these are powerful forms of expression and offer our youth a way to access their inner voice. We aim to provide a safe haven and enhance the quality of life for our youth. We are looking to the future, because we feel the success and longevity of society rests with the children and if we fail to plan to take the time to nurture the children and pass knowledge onto them, then we have planned to fail for the future. We will continually work to create an enduring legacy of building healthy relationships, spirit, mind and body.
Our Goal: “Lead By Example” Our goal is to empower at risk teens and young adults to overcome the barriers, meet the challenges and beat the odds, they often feel stacked against them, by gaining the business acumen required to sustain long-term profitability and with a legitimate enterprise. We want them to know they have to believe in themselves and give themselves the opportunity to do something positive. In other words we must develop an air of self-esteem and self-confidence which will produce their positive self-image, without which, success is hard to come by. We must instill in our youth that they should strive to do something positive and generate the dignity around what they do plus self-esteem and confidence, which are basic prerequisites to success. The parents should plan an important role in motivating, encouraging, and supporting their children. So many kids in urban communities like “Atlanta” really don’t have a vision of what the future holds and what they can become. They really didn’t have a chance to interact with professionals, i.e. lawyers, accountants, investment bankers, or management consultants. This reality needs to change for all communities, so the youth can feel empowered, inspired, and stay optimistic to know that with strength, courage, and persistence they can do anything. We must help the youth to understand the importance of knowing how to keep faith, because it always finds a way to make things happen, stay in the right consciousness, keep a victory mind, and live abundantly, because implementing these things into their everyday life will allow for lack and low self-esteem to disappear. We will also instill the prevailing philosophy that, “In life attitude is the key to freedom”, which will show tremendous resilience in the face of adversity!
