It’s primary missions is to promote research, education, and implementation of nutrition-based therapies as a component of comprehensive health management. GIANT Inc. currently serves as the umbrella organization and fiscal agent for GIANT Global Haiti Division.
The country of Haiti has faced many challenges including the 2010 earthquake which has further stymied development in the country. GIANT Global Haiti Division is assisting with the development of local capacity by providing training, technical assistance, and monetary assistance to local organizations. This assistance is provided in support of the local economy to supply resources which contributes to the development and recovery process in post-earthquake Haiti.

Images from Haiti, is a collection of photographs taken during the twelve months following the devastating earthquake that struck near the capital of Port au Prince on January 12, 2010. From the hills of the Central Plateau, to the rice fields in L’Artibonite, through the streets of Cite Soleil, and inside of the concertina wired walls of an orphanage, this collection of images is intended to share the strength, resiliency, determination and struggle that all Haitians face in a post-earthquake world.
